first of all its 800 dollars to tear the tranny down then parts and then labor for that the guy at the honda dealership quoted me 1650 to replace a third gear synchro. F*ck that im gonna go get me a ITR Transmission.

 

Damn $1600? Pull the trans yourself, take it somewhere and have them fix it. It will be quite a bit cheaper. The synchro I believe sells in the area of $150-250, can't really remember. If you pull the trans yourself, expect to pay $400-600 to get it fixed. $1600 is way outta wack.
