I want to buy this 90 dx CRX. Really good price. Right now i have a 4 door with a ITR motor, so im looking for a lighter chassis. HOw much does the CRX weigh? The LX weighs in at about 2250 i think stock. So im hoping to lose 250-300 pounds. And what features does the DX have? I dont want a powr steering rack, or AC. And what could i take out of the Rex to save some weight?

Roughly 2100 lbs. And my current car weighs roughly 2220. Thats not a big difference from CRX to 4 door. Does the DX have PS and AC?

It can have A/C but no USDM CRX ever had PS.

BTW....no it doesnt have AC or PS. If you want lighter....get an older crx...their wiehgt increased allot over the years.

Mine had A/C. Thats why I said yes it "COULD" have A/C some do some dont.

Yeah, a 90 DX weighs 2103lbs, No Power steering, some have AC, most don't

 

Well I know some SI's came with AC.....since si usually have optional stuff for the DX as standard and N/A stuff for the dx as optional...I assume the DX wont have it.

The odds are pretty ******* high it wont anyways....so he shouldnt hold his breath over it.
