90 DX tranny question

Im getting a 90 DX tranny for my 89 hatch can i use the same axle thats on my car now or do i need an axle from a 90?

hes 100% correct

the DX gears (1st-5th) are the same as the Si....
what changes its the Final Drive from a 3.88 to a 4.25
and the difference its noticeable but not killer....
FYI its 0.3 of a sec,,, i ran 15.4 with DX and 15.1 with Si...
