How to attach a factory spoiler to a 97 Accord?
I have the chance to get a hold of a factory spoiler to attach to my 97 Accord EX 4dr, but the wiring has been cut and I don't believe there area any plugs to attach to the car's wiring. Couple of questions:
1) Is the spoiler ususally plug and play? (does it attach to plugs already installed in the vehicle?)
2) How would I acquire any instructions as to how to mount the unit to the trunk lid and wire it to the vehicle?
3) Any ideas on where to get mounting hardware/plugs since they probably will not be included with the spoiler.
Thanx for the help!!

I would personally let a qualified body shop attach the spoiler. The holes must be drilled in the correct place for the spoiler to fit right. I am not saying that you may not be capable of doing it yourself or anything, but I'd much rather let someone else with the right tools do it for me, than me trying to drill through my car's trunk lid. Also, the wiring should be fairly simple. Since the spoiler only has a brake light, I would assume there are only to wires, maybe three. These wires should connect to your brake light circuit, by wiring them in with your rear brake lights.

+1??
check your underside of your trunk there should be 4 indicated point which you need to drill, it will fits perfect for oem and oem replica spoiler
check the gasket, if it's weak and falling off then get some material in homedepot and make one yourself, i dont think honda sells oem wings gasket by itself.
the wire plus shouldnt be a problem, since your car roll off the dealer wingless, it doesnt come with a plug, just slice the wires from the third brake light(disable the 3rd and attach it for the wing led light) there's two wires to tap(one is black and other is black with white line, or something to tell the differeces.)

Also, anyone happen to have the templates that are used to locate the holes to drill in to the top of the trunk lid that come with the spoiler kit? A scan of these would be ideal. Thanx in advance.
on my 93, there were 4 indent holes underneath the trunk lid, indicating the holes for the screws. i just drilled there and matched the spoiler up na dscrewd those ***** in.
