dx ecu for pgmfi intake
just got a quick question I just finished swaping my dx intake to a pgmfi intake and I was just wondering before I get a si ecu can I use the dx ecu on the pgmfi intake swap
also I don't have a si distributor yet so can I use the dx dizzy instead

yup, dx ecu and dizzy will not work.

Yeah this is all true and the reason you cant use the dizzy is cause the Si dizzy has a crank positioning sensor in it to tell the injectors when to fire while a DX dizzy doesnt cause it just sprays fuel out of the 2 injectors to a common point so they dont need to be times. As for the ECU you cant use the DX one cause it can only read the 2 injectors not 4 like you need read with the mpfi. Also it doesnt have anything in the ECU to control like the crank positioning sensor and plus some of the wires are different at the ECU as well so it will be sending signals to the worng (if any) thing.
