2000 SIR suspension setup
I just autoXed for the first time with my new suspension setup that was installed a month ago(Tokico Illuminas with Tein S. Tech's) and it was pretty good b/c I've never had upgraded suspension B4. I'm wondering if the H&R Cup Kit is alot better, or are they pretty close in performance? Reason I'm thinking of switching so quickly is b/c a friend wants to buy my setup from me instead of waiting for it to be ordered. I wasn't overly impressed with the S.Tech spring rates as well.
So Tein S. Tech/tokico Illumina < H&R Cup Kit?
Thanks

I read that the H&R Cup Kit are really Koni Yellows painted silver, and those are matched with H&R Sport springs. So if that's true, then you have....

Yeah that's what I found out as well. So which setup is better? Is it worth swapping out the H&R/Koni Yellows for my Illumina/S. tech setup?
Go for the cup kit. First off the S.Techs are not much stiffer than stock, they don't call them "dress up masters" for nothing. Not to mention Tokicos aren't **** when compare to Konis. Getting a specifically valved spring/shock combo is usually the best idea if you're not going with a full coilover setup. I myslef plan on getting the Koni RSK kit since I don't need the adjustability right now. Try shox.com.
