This just started this afternoon. The Check Engine Light came on as did the SRS light. It isnt completely on though, it flickers mostly when i hit a bump. If i slam the glove compartment it completely goes away until i get on another bumpy road. One light does not come on without the other. Anyone else had this problem or know what it could be?

 

if the lights arent staying on than its a ground in your electrical system probably in the lighting circut on your gauge cluster check it out its only 3-4 screws. trace the wires and see if there is bare wire any where. another thing is if the light is not intermittent than pull the passenger side kick pannel and jump the check engine service connector (with the ignition off keys out of the ign.) and than turn the key on to see if your getting a sensor tripp youll get a set of codes let me know and ill tell you what it is. but I need your year. ok good luck.

 

I think i know my problem.. when i installed my sound system i ran the wire under the carpet.. well by the kick panel there was a plug and it was hanging down ever since i did the audio install.. well today my girlfriend closed the door on the plug somehow... crushing it leaving nothing but the metal. The plug was green i think. I guess they are rubbing together and causing the lights
