Default WCHC w/ TC @ Thunderhill - beer of choice

So.... I am thinking what sixer (beer) to get for the side bet that the Bulldog & I have for the NorCal WCHC event being run with Team Continental. "Should I get some Gordon, Marin Brewing Co? Maybe a case of Sierra Nevada - I could buy a 12'er @ Costco." Then it occurs to me, I should get whatever I like ....since I am going to win anyway!

Just over two weeks out. Let the games begin!

Dude... I like IPA. Make it a good micro from the bay!

We'll be hashing it out back in the field, I think. I just got off the phone with Canada and Curt Storms (ITA guru and master engine builder) is planning on a personal goal of a 10.5 lap. in addition there is a new CRX Si driver by Kieth Carter who always outdrives me coming down.

Nick T was suppose to drive Steve Ingersoll's CRX but I think he's only coming down for the personal appearance. BUT, Steve is renting his championship car to Rick H (fast VW dude) so the H4 contingency $$ may be out of reach...

I want to invite all the Cal guys to come down and hang out. And if anyone wants to help work the event, I'll promise you the best paddock Tex-Mex dinner and brew/margarita fest you'll ever have! Workers are always welcome...

Mike, I have a fresh set of shaved Toyo's ready for the beer-battle so bring your best game. plus I got Chief JohnG in the pits along with Kyle to help set the car to "win". So, while you're out in the hot sun changing wheels and stringing the car, I'll be in a hamock doing some Zen napping.

But to make things fair, I will bring down some good NW micro-beer to put up for the race.

Greg ~ who can't wait to shame his H-T counterpart.

I'll come and help...I can do basic mechanical items, other than that I can be a tool bitch But I'll help where I can, I know that Chris is already heading up, and it'll be nice to meet everyone.

Hmmm.....I know that my car can do a :09. It pulled a few @ last years 12 Hour.

The trick will be for me to be in the car when it does. Unfortuntely, it has eluded me so far.

Victor, you aren't coming either!? Bummer, first Scott & now you. I was hoping to meet you guys. I was also hoping you could give our H1 drivers a run for the money.

Got word over the weekend that a couple more H4 drivers should be coming from Cali.

Brian Lock & possibly John Morrison. These are new racers who have come out just for HC. There is also a driver starting to run HPDE with a Franky motor.

My beer of choice would be Sapporo, then Asahi and finally Kirin. I like the Sapporor beers becasue you can buy those at the vending machines.

Seriously, have fun and be safe. THIl has 3 miles of track and lotsa runoff space. The only things you can hit are the cows watching at turn 8. I really miss being able toi race.

Kyle - This isn't a swamp buggy race! This is a serious high class competition that demands a top-shelf wager... I bet Mike is searching the Cosco beer section as we speak.

Tyson - We'll have several TC drivers testing on Thursday afternoon. Maybe you can show us the fast line.

GregU - I'm really sorry you couldn't make it this year. Let me know your size and I'll set aside a t-shirt for ya.

Lots of beer is always good but how many non-ICSCC regulars are coming out to play.

Don't bother...

Just buy a couple of half-cases and call it good!

I just finished prepping the car and packin' stuff and realized I should have a 18 wheeler. (Living 20 minutes away from a track really spoiles a guy) The "Dog" is ready and on the trailer...

Greg ~ who still has to buy mosquito spray and NW beer...

Just an idea-try a regional 'micro' called HeBrew from San Fransisco. No kidding - they even mail order it to us here in the eastern half.
