ok i was looking on Ebay the other day and saw a Ek hatch with a moonroof is that right? i was thinking they didnt come with one.

every aftermarket sunroof i have seen on an EK (all two of them lol) leaked, so to me they seem like a bad idea

 

Couldn't they take it from a 96-2000 civic? and then it wouldn't be aftermarket :-)

 

my friend said he saw an ek cx at the honda dealership when he was buying his si back in 2000 with one. the label said cx se model.

 

Damn it I have seen one too! A freakin dark blue color one, some old lady driving that piece....I have yet to see another.

 

Must be aftermarket. Even if you took one from a 99-00 Si or a 96-00 EX Coupe, the sunroof piece itself wouldn't be aftermarket, it would be OEM from another car (like gSR wheels on a hatch) but the act of cutting the roof would be aftermarket. I say get one without a moonroof. More rigid chasis and less leaks!

dude... dont think your hot **** just cuz u got more posts than me. i was once just like u. i have been a member like 3 months longer than u, so dont gimme that.

 

ek's in europe could be had with p/w, p/l, and moonroof. i dont get why they didnt sell loaded eg/ek's here. and now the only civic hatch they sell has all power accessories, and they dont have a stripped down model.

cx Se? i've never heard of this? does anyone have anymore info on these?

 

the only time ive ever heard SE been used is either in Canada, or when a dealer installs a bunch of crap and calls it the SE edition.

 

I think installing a moonroof into the EK(USDM) would ruin the structural integrity of the car?

 

I think I seen about 10 hatches with moonroof, was an option?
