H.I.D. Problem?
I recently installed a set of Audi A6 HIDs on my car. My friend got me a set (legit) but the bulbs were different. 1 Osram 35W, 1 Philips 35W. Both are D2S
They light up great but for some reason when they warm up theyre the same color and when theyre set one looks a little yellow and the other normal white HID.

After passing around 100-500 hours the phenonmen "color shift" will take place. Color will change slightly from a yellowish tone to a crisper bluer tone. The magnitude of color shift will vary depending on brand, model and rated color. It is a very gradual change and unless paid close attention to, a customer might not notice. OEM 4100K Bulbs manufactured by Philips has been reported to have a more noticeable color shift than OEM 4100K Osram. OEM 4100K Bulbs manufactured by Philips has a colorshift of approx 250K after 500 hours, which will bring it to up to 4350K.

Is this the answer??
TIA
Not noticeable in the pic.

I would suspect the bulbs are different ages. Phillips is coming out with a 5000K bulb (not tinted) specifically for cars w/ OEM HID in which one bulb has gone out for whatever reason, and these 5000K bulbs will more closely match their other bulb (if you replaced it w/ a brand new D2S it would be more yellow than the older bulb).
So yeah, most likely the 2 bulbs have different amounts of hours of use on them.

in comparison, osram HID has more of a purple output, and the philips has more of a sky blue color.. but the reason you're seeing so much yellow is because they arent shielded.. the color shift thing might be an answer, but as far as the 2 bulbs go, they have different color outputs even brand new when side by side..
