help...B16 crx
im done with the swap but when i tried to drive it it wanted to take off but wouldnt...i jacked the car up and saw that the drivers axle was turning but not the passenger...i dont have lsd and i thought that maybe the caliper was holding the brakes down so i took apart the caliper and nothing was making the caliper stick and i tried to turn the rotor and axle with my hand but it wouldnt turn any1 have any ideas?
When you do this swap, you have to remove the dust cap things (can't think of the right word..sorry) on the back of the knuckles. If not the axles will bind up and not turn. Jack it up, undo the lower ball joints and axles nuts, pop ur axle ends out of the hubs, and you will see a big round thing on the back of the hub, that covers the ends of the axle. Take a flat blade screw driver and pop them off. seen this problem a couple times.
one more thing to check for is, what tranny do you have? if it's a Y1 then go to Hasports page for more info on what axles to use, if it is, it's easier in the long run to just get the YS1 intermediate shaft. You should be checkin Hasport's site either way, lot's of info

Yes. Also, the axles may have come with rings on them, remove these as well.
