Default Holy crap, look at all the metal!

I just flushed and filled my tranny fluid. After removing the Spoon magnetic tranny bolt, look at all the metal particles that adhered to it!

Examing all the oil that was drained out, visually there were no small scraps of metal that could be seen with the naked eye. So I guess whatever miniscule metal particles there were inside the tranny found their way to the Spoon bolt.

Damn looks like a good investment. Wonder if they make one for a tranny drain plug?

Spoon offers an oil pan magnetic drain plug AND a tranny magnetic drain plug.......and those that get the moroso oil pans....those plugs come magnetized also.......I run the spoon drain plugs on my Si....VERY effective

yea but the magnatized screw driver wears off, then your drain plug becomes an ordinary one again.

There is actually a magnet already in our transmissions - at the bottom of the case.

But it looks like the addition of a spoon drain plug sure doesn't hurt anything..

They sell them at most all auto stores. Get out of the house. They're oh... $2.
