Default uping compresson by use of a thinner head gasket

trying to get the most compresson out of a stock b16a motor with out milling the head.its the first gen with 10:2 COMP. I was thinking ether spoon head gasket or taking a layer a so off of the stock one. ps iam also running stock cams. thanks for any help any one gives.

Either choice will give you a slight bump in compression. Keep in mind that anytime the head is brought closer to the block (either by milling or with a thinner gasket), your cam timing will be affected.

With a Spoon or Mugen gasket, you will probably see roughly a 0.3 point gain.
