too many switches-2
alright then guys. I hope you all remember my old post about having too many damn toggle switches to run stuff, well my solution was a key-pad type system to turn lights on and off. To give you all a slightly more visual concept i made a web version. That works pretty much the way i invision the final looking. In my process of making the web version i see that a physical version is a lil over my head and would take massive hardware programming and physical fabrication. Anyways i will let you guys have a look and tell me what u think. And i appoligize for the slow loading, damn geocities.

Oh also you will probably want some directions:
1) To turn on individual lights(accesories), press 00 then the number that corresponds with the light. (001 to turn on light 1). THen click enter
2) Pressing enter again will turn off the light.
3) You must press clear before entering a new number.
4) If you turn one light on, then another, to turn off the first light just enter the first lights number again.
5) There are three combo keys,333-left side,666-right side,999-all lights
6) Use of program button(change the code that will activate the lights):
6a)Enter a code for an individual light (e.x 004) then hit prog.
6b)Press clear and enter in the code u want to now control the light (e.x 527) then press prog once again.
6c)Press clear, and now the new code will control the light.
7) You can not reprogram the multicodes(333,666, or 999)
Go for it and fill me in with what u think.

did u like it though, i dunno if i should follow through with it or not it seems like a lot of work, and would be a sweet thing for shows, u guys think judges would like this kind of new stuff?
Seems way to complicated for me. I mean turn on a light than hit enter turn on another one hit enter and then to shut it off go back with a bunch of numbers. I think a better way to doing it is getting like a control unit that like say you find in cop cars and fire trucks and such to turn there lights on and off they have buttons that controls all sorts of different likes on their cars. My friend has the control unit in his truck to controls his lightbar on top of his truck and to control his strobes in the lights and also other ones to control the siren. So with the controls it labled with different tags hit it once it goes on hit again it goes off no memorizing numbers either and the button that you hit lights up so you know whats actually on. Hmmm?? Now I just gave myself an idea
