Default s2k......$10.5k

http://www.autotrader.com/find...st=63

what do you guys think?
the car is about an hour from me.
it needs two fenders, a door skin and a new softop/frame.

ive gotten a quote for 2900 for all the parts, new/OEM, and i am expecting about 2500 in labor/paint.

my question is.....i know that honda made these cars to be very rigid, etc....
am i going to run into serious short/long term problems w/ a rollover like this?
let me know guys....im just a lowly civic owner and am just now entering the world of the s2k's.
thanks in advance.

So you are looking at spending about 16K on the car total. You can probably find a S2K for around 19K or even less that has never wrecked. Make sure you check for any "unseen damages". Now that will be an 00 model, but never being wrecked is a nice thing.

I go to the auctions with my friend all the time seen tons of cars go at prices I still cant believe. I bought an S2000 around 3 months ago with 35000m for 22000, at the same time an S went for 16900 and it had 56000m on it. Buy a car that is not salvaged, buy one with alittle high miles. Plus that car only cost him MAYBE 5 grand "yes we do buy salvged cars to" if you want a good deal on a S2000 at whole sale cost email me at christymj13@yahoo.com

seee, my only problem is that i only pay cash for cars....just an old habbit, i hate having a car payment. if a rolled over s2k is not a good idea, then i will just wait awhile and get a newer one w/ fewer miles. thanks for the input, but im looking for advice on whether or not i should expect any short/long term problems, considering the frame is so tight from the factory.

the frame is most definetley f*cked

even if you fix it, it'll never handle or behave like it once did

Ya, a hard wreck like that is bound to leave some unrepairable damages.

ANYTHING is repairable, but that car certainly needs some rack time.. Look at it in person or get better pics before you buy

dont give up yet. have a body shop guy check out the frame and see whats wrong. then talk the guy down from 10.5. if you could talk him down to like 9 or so u got ur self a good deal.
