Strut bar Clearance issues with these mounts..
I'm getting a set and I noticed my OEM Si bar will have to be modded to let them fit.....if I change t othe ITR bar will I have clearance issues???

you'll have to purchase an aftermarket strut bar.
one that actually bolts up to the strut top bolts and not the actual
factory holes.

Yeah I have TEIN SS coils.....I'm going to have to space the hood up....cheap washer trick........let more cool air in also......

the ITR bar will rub and it isn't as easy to grind as the GS-R/Si/Del Sol one...
Keep the GSR style one and grind it down. You'll know where to grind once you get the mounts.

I just installed Ground-Controls top hats and they are tall and fat. I couldn't use a stock SI or ITR bar. Only ones that will fit are Spoon(style) bars or Carbing, the ones that fits around the strut holes.

sorry to thread jack, but how are the GC hats? did u notice any improvements? how much did they set u back?

They are great. I recommend them to everyone with cars lowered more than 1.5 inches and running stock length struts. Only cost $78. Oh yeah, you do have to modify the bushing if you have struts that have large piston rods.
