MSD IGNITION SYSTEM SET-UP HELP!
OK, I've saved my cash, and now I'm ready for an ignition system.. this is what I have planned... is this a good idea? How could I improve it? Also, would that Sport Compact Ignition (SCI) be better and work with all that other stufffffff? Thanks!
MSD 6A Ignition Control, PN 6200
MSD Blaster SS Coil, PN 8207
MSD Adjustable Timing Control, PN 8680
I've already got Taylor Pro Series 8mm wires, but I was thinking about Nology or Vitek... does anyone know of a GREAT fitting, GREAT performing, blue wire set?
Do I need an aftermarket distributor? What kind?
Most of my driving is around the city, some highway, and the 1/8 mile track about every weekend. I'd like to run regular gas most of the time and then every now and then run premium and advance the timing to get some more HP. Does this sound about right?
Thanks!

SCI is a rebadged 6AL, not worth it, NGK makes blue wires, good fitting, just modify your stock cap with an MSD power tower or buy an MSD cap (roughly $40) if you don't wanna touch your stock cap.
ok, lets say i replaced my distributor and got a cap... any idea of which cap and distributor i would get for my car? also, do i need the blaster ss coil if iget a cap? might sound dumb, but i don't really understand this whole thing just yet. thanks!
Question: What about Crane? I'm currently using a Crane Ignition System with 11.5 mm wires. THey work excellent, but then again, I am running a turbo... Before, I definately had a magnecor setup with NGK plugs. NGK have always worked the best for the Integra, as well as just replacing a stock cap and rotor with an O.E.
MSD Caps have a tendency to act kind of screwy from what my Mech says..
But I could be wrong....
