How does this setup feel?

Just curious, because I ordered the Hasport Shift Linkage(s) for my rex, and I have Place Racing (blue) mounts.

I just want to make sure I didn't make a bad purchase, Place Racing Linkages are on back order.

i have the place racing mounts on my 1990-91 hatchback with a 1.8 swap. it is a bit rumbly inside the cabin, but then again, it's a race car so you have to get used to it. if this is for your daily driver i don't recommend it. it's fairly stiff...a lot stiffer than the stock ones; stiff enough to rattle the rear view mirror and move it out of place sometimes...i have a broadway clip on.

when shifting gears, it's a bit jerky but then that depends on how you shift and how you drive your car. i like them and so far (*knock on wood*), no problems. i'll be putting on stiff suspension this weekend and it's gonna get more stiffer

 

PR blues .. rattled my head loose and took about 5-6 months before they broke in .. have fun !!
