New ITR Eye Candy of Lucky #547
After a couple months without taking new quality pics of my car I decided to get things cracking before the summer ends. Enjoy!

There is nothing like a freshly waxed black R... (can you say MIRROR reflection?)

Here's the 1024 x 768 version of the pic above for the desktop

Dude, Josh, did you take any photography classes in highschool/college? I swear... all your pictures look so good. I mean, you do have a very good camera, but yeesh, I can't get the whole "getting things to not look like ****" down.

Wax is a protectant applied after everything else...you need polish, swirl removers, and a good orbital polisher to get that kind of shine....
io_burn - Nope, I have not taken any photography classes. All my techniques have been through trial/error and lots of experimentation.
Not necessarily...
MiraiZ and NBP ITR 01-622 - All I did was wash the car and applied cleaner wax (Liquid Luster) by hand with VERY soft cotton cloths. Liquid Luster is a soft wax so it's easy and quick to apply/remove but it does not last a long time. I did not used a polish, swirl remover, nor an orbital polisher. I use Meguires quick detailer to wipe the dust off once in a while between wax applications.

I recently did all 4 steps including clay bar, polish, swirl remover and then waxing. I used a cheap orbital buffer (and parts by hand) to remove the wax, the result was excellent on my frost white integra gsr. Definenetly worth the time to do it!!
however it was a sweating 8 hours and no breakfast!! Too bad I don't have a digital camera.....

I have Liquid Luster too. I bought it at a car show a few months back. It is really easy to put on and take off. I waxed my car last week and it took me about 45 minutes or so to do it. I use it on my SEA-DOO too. That stuff works wonders. A couple weeks ago, I came out of my house and there was a red scratch on my car and it took it right off without rubbing really hard. My buddies Del Sol mirrors have oxidized a little over the years and it took it right off and made them look almost brand new. He is right though, it doesn't last really long though.
Wow, that is impressive..
I know this is probably a stupid question (sorry!) but can you wax the lights? I noticed how shiny the ones in the pics are so I'm just wondering.
