ok..i recently went to a car show and my boss bought a jdm SIR from japan..the RHD. it doesn't have a glass top. and there was this other crx at the show that was from japan. it was RHD as well..but my question is.

the honda emblem on the rear hatch...does it pop out as an emblem or is it painted on the rear window just like the USDM?

does the water squirters for the rear hatch stand in the center of the window or does it stand 1/4 of the hatch to the left? that's it..thanks

I think, I am not 100% sure though. That yes, on JDM CRX's the rear emblem is in fact an emblem not just paint like on the USDM ones.
And I know for a fact on the glass roof models the rear washer nozzle is in the hatch trim, not on the roof like the USDM models. And it is off to one side. Not so sure about the non-glass roof models however.

If the JDM and USDM symbols on the hatch glass are the same. Then
I think the raised metal " " logo was a JDM only accessory. I know I've seen it in pix somewhere maybe some of my JDM books or brochures.LOL I'll hve to check to be sure.

Just looked in my JDM and EDM brochures. It seems That the "H" logo
on the hatch glass is indeed painted like the USDM ones although, I do remember seeing the raised metal "H' was an accessory in either Europe , Japan or both. The only pics I saw in any brochures with the rear washer nozzle on the hatch itself was the glass roof model. All the others have it in the same spot as the USDM CRX's. Maybe your hatch was swapped with one from a glass roof model. LOL And all the hatches
say "16 valve DOHC" at the bottom of the glass. HTH

 

I think the H on the back was an optional piece. It's like the factory optioned "Civic" in a raised chrome emblem like the 92-95 Sedan's had. I know I had a sticker on my old 93 sedan and I kept seeing these raised chrome emblems that were a factory options on SOOO many 92-95 sedans.

Hell if I know aobut the glass roof/squirter questions tho.
