Do you feel that you could run 11's on a b16 unsleeved? (in a unibody EF)....slicks and skinnies and fiberglass body parts. With the best parts and headwork...Can it be done?
sorry to steal the thread........

ahhhhh thats a really freaken OPEN questions bro. Give us more info about what all your going with in the build and maybe someone will help you out.
All i have to say it build it right the 1st time around and ditch the crower cams.. they suck nutz! and get hondata. even with a stock B20vtec you should see about 170whp with some ITR cams

damn thread hijacker! good job! lLOL
you got my attention.
Well yes you can do it, given the right weight of the ef and the suspension. on a 11 sec run in a 2000lbs car you'll need at least a 2.0 60ft time with at least 220whp.
200whp 1.6 b16.... VERY rare to see. good luck

Actually i think you can get the EF-civic/crx down to 1700 still being unibody.....or even less than that.....and with a narrowed rear suspension more weight can be dropped. So would 200 whp on a 1650-1700lbs car be enough for a 11 sec pass 11.99 or quicker?

I've done it with a B20 you should have no problem Hitting 200HP with the right setup.
