about timing gears, bent valves, and compression
I just noticed that when i get on it wot, my 96 h22a1 with 120,000 miles blows a little greyish smoke changing gears real hard. And maybe a little at vtec engagement. Noot real sure about it smokin a little when the vtec hits, it is more when changing gears real hard. Any way, i use mobile 1 syntec, or whatever its called, every time since 70,000 miles. why would it smoke? Next question: If i skipped 2-4 teeth on the cam, on the exhaust side, will theat bend my valves? Even if i checked the compresison and it is 180 across the board? And if I did slightly bend some valves would that cause it to smoke a little?
what, nobody even has a honda-tech opinion on this? no personal this happened to me, but it was this stories? Sad. Anywhoh, i appreciate the info before hand!

explain how you think you might have skipped a few teeth
180 seems a little low for a 96 vtec but not to bad.
