i think you didn't hit 100mph because you got off the line with the 1.7 60ft. Nice 60 ft. time by the way. The best 60 ft i could cut was a 1.8 but i'm pretty happy and surprised with my results also. 12 sec club here we come

Theres your answer. 20" slicks are too short to carry any MPH through the 1/4. Move up to a 22 or 23" and you'll be faster. Hurting MPH can also come from not enough PSI in the tires.

hey man, you should try launching around 6000 and shift around 7800 w/ a 22inch tire you should be able to run 13.0's. that's what i ran last year with a stock h22 w/ the car weighing 2220lbs w/ me. i was making 187whp and 152tq last year when it was street driven. H22's don't want to be rev'd too high. any time i rev past 8000 when shifting i run slower. you want to be well into 4th gear at the finish.

damn... 13.0 thats quick..

my car wieghed 2150 without me... and its a cx.. damn i want to get it lighter!!!
it was 108 on sat and 106 on sun... if it was cooler i think me and BJ would of hit better times.. i tried lauching at 6 at the track and shifting at 8... 2.0 60ft.. and ran a 14... so i think lauching at 7 was better cuz thats when i got the best 60ft's

which event are you guys going to Sonoma next month or CMI in october? SiB16a what's your set up? I was running a hella big slick in my EF 24.5 x 8 (or whatever) x 13. and the best i can pull with those big slicks was a 2.0 60 ft launching at 7000. Good luck guys. Props for repping the 831. Hopefully next time we can represent harder
