i have a d16z6 motor.. im building it up .. and im just wondering if i throw some high comp. pistons in there.. like 11:1. would it feel comparable to a gsr swap?

i drove a gsr in a del sol for the first time.. and it was a rush

but i still want my d16

thank for input...

sohc will never feel like a nice running GSR, my b16 with bolt ons doesnt even feel like a nice running bone stock GSR, let alone a GSR with bolt on's. Do what i did, toss the sohc, i know there are a few on this board who talk 'em up and all... but im not one of em torqueless wonders represent!!!!!

If you turbo it then you'll make some power. Even your torque will see a huge gain...but pistons and cam wont let you shut down the gsr swapped cars.
