Does anyone have pics of their 4th gen. 'lude with a drop on it?
I 'm fix'n to put on all my stuff for my car (cat back, header, cold air intake, paint work, interior work, zex no,blah, blah ,blah ,brag, brag, brag)and one of the things is coil overs. I want to see if I'll be satisfied with just a drop or if I need to get a body kit before I start painting. I've also heard that body kits can slow you down.......but to what extent?
On my site (link at the bottom), in the "Friend's Rides" section, there are some low-resolution pics of my bro's '96 Si, with all the mods listed (~1.5" drop).
sounds like your gonna ruin that prelude anyways, go ahead and drop it 4 inches..
...and how would I be ruin'in my 'lude?
nitrous will do a good job of ruining an engine.
...... So I guess you have experience with nos? How many kits have you put in and seen perform on a car?.........................Have you ever had nos?

I know that if you decide to go the N20 route you MUST have a bigger fuel pump, an A/F ratio gauge, and a fuel pressure riser. Its also a good idea to upgrade your pistons and rods. The bigger the shot you want, the more prepping your gonna have to do. Its better to wait and do it the right way. Dont be like my friend and throw a rod because you couldent wait to prep your engine for N20.
(don't answer that) I'm only putting a 75 shot zex system on it and an A/F ratio gauge. I don't need a fuel pressure riser or rods and pistons. If I were go'na go with a 150 shot or something then I would build up my engine and do all that good stuff. (hey!I know what I'm do'in)
must??
I ran a 75hp zex kit for about a year with no problems on a 93 h22a1... now i have a turbo on it and it is still running strong... oh and it has about 120k miles on it too... and goes to the drag strip and the autoX and stoplight drags, oh, and is a daily driver... nitrous isn't the killer everyone makes it out to be, people installing/using it incorrectly are the real problem...

Aren't those safety nets that you would LIKE to have though?
I have a friend with a 50 shot of ZEX on a Del Slow... no fuel pump, but a FPR installed correctly...
second shot = BAM... now he's rolling with a b18c5. Know why? cause he burned not one, but TWO pistons.
You may not need it all the time... you may not need it at all. But I wouldn't use a setup without one. That's just a safety measure that I go by. Different folks, different strokes.

hahahaha....
Ok... I'll give you that one.
Although there are some Supra and 3rd gen RX-7 owners that might disagree.
