a mugen or spoon thermostat and thermo switch on a high compression motor say like 12.1

Doesn't matter about the motor. Basically kick the fan on sooner car runs cooler. Primarily made and used for endurance racing or track racing.

I'd say see what your temps are like with Redline's Water Wetter and a heavier water bias in your coolant first.

If your spending time on auto-X tracks or anysort of high engine stress for a long time. Then there isn't much better for you. Your engine will run at lower temps for longer because instead of using your fans and coolant when the engine is already too hot. It all comes on so it will be in full effect about the time your reaching optimum running temps.
