I had them, on my old coupe which was stripped a while back. They saved my rims cuz they stripped! Ah, I wont roll them anymore, I had two sets beacuse 6 stripped while getting new tires.

I have had mine for like three years, and have not yet had a problem with them... nock on wood! No, but I also heard that the new Koyo's have a new key that will not strip out your lugs, because the key is now made from a much stronger material and it is still light weight. I have the black open ends, and as long as you do not have a shop use an air gun on them then you should be fine, and you shouldn't use an air gun on any after market lug nut... it messes them up in time. ;}

I used to have those, until a mechanic managed to strip some with an air gun!

I've had no problems with mine, almost 2 years now. Just remember to torque them to Kyokugen's specs, which is 88-110Nm, not 80ft./lbs.
I have been torquing to 90Nm and they've been fine. They are pretty damn light as well, you will swear they are made of plastic or something.

Lugs strip because people are morons and don't use 80 - 90 foot pounds to tighten them.. Instead they use an air gun or do it by hand and do it to 200+ ft lbs. This causes the AFTERMARKET, WEIGHT REDUCING lug to strip or causes the key to strip.
What do you think is gonna happen when you get lighter lug nuts? You think they are going to be stronger than your stock ones? Stock lugs are heavy in turn making them strong.
Bottom line is, all aftermarket lugs/keys will strip if not used properly. Some just strip more quickly than others. Instead of investing 100+ bucs on MUGEN lugs that "don't ever strip" try spending 100 bucs on a torque wrench so you can shut the **** up about your lugs/keys stripping.

my friend has koyo's and have never had a problem with them, he sitll have the extra 4 from his set, cuz he hasnt stripped one yet.
There 7 point, and you have to use the key to take them off, if you dont your gonna **** something up. Common sense will really keep you from stripping them, that and dont over torque them.
i also have Ray's! WOOT WOOT!!!! Just get over the price and buy the damn things. Its just $$$ dont sweat the petty stuff.
