Default what short shifter should i use?

I am been wanting to put a short shifter on my ITR, but can't figure out which one is better one, so if you experienced ITR owners could help... that would be great

From what I hear, on an ITR, C's short-shifter is the best. All the others are just junk. BTW, stock shifter is pretty damn good... I would personally spend the money on something else.

Agreed the stock shifter is pretty nice, but I have the B&M Pro Edge, and now when I drive my friends ITR with the stock shifter, it feels like a School Bus.

S,

U need to try my C's; I think I'll be able to make it to Stone Mtn. on the 18th.

I also have the B&M edge. Real nice feel and high quality. The only thing is that mine rattles between a certain rpm range. Most noticeably between 70-80mph in 5th. I have taken it apart twice and relubed everything and it seems to be clearing the exuast heat shield but it still rattles. I think the problem is that when I got the kit one of the bushings supplied was broke so I just used one of the factory ones instead which is a slightly different size. Who knows though.

Shane,

Awesome, looking forward to meeting you and checking out your car. I know you're car will be a special treat for everyone to see! Only a week more 'til the meet. I'm excited!!!

Yeah, stock is the best I've driven. Skunk 2 makes a good kit, but it isn't as smooth as the stock ITR gears.

I have yet to see anyone whose leg could move fast enough to warrant a
short shifter.

LOL! All I hear about ppl who get short shifters in their R is how bad their tranny is messed up (Help my synchros are bad, it grinds.....), when in fact they are not shifting properly.

Haven't ground my synchros yet with my C's, but then again, I'm pretty mechanically sympathethic to my Si.

I have a Skunk 2 and love it........personally I would not spend the money on C's, its just a short shifter.

I take it Back. I will be doing a Group buy on authentic Balsa Wood Short Shifter's by Slowerthanu. These are treated prior to shipping with crisco for that ultimate shine. The first 15 buyer's also get a genuine Skull shift **** made out of soap that I got off the bottom of my tub.
