Nope.... he was simply a car following behind me, when I heard a 'crunch', saw him (in my rear vision mirror) slide across the road and then disappear!!

We were bloody worried, that the guy was injured.... but he climbed out fine and is car was pretty much undamaged!!

What model was this?

Doesn't have the SIR wing assuming its lower model?

Not sure to be honest.... all I know, is that it is an Australian late-model (ie late 80's or early 90's) 'CRX'.

This is the LE crx the one with the leather steering wheel, leather interior, it also has the lower rear lip, it has the glass roof. Or was that the crx exclusive. It should also have the power windows right?

I thought it was the crx exclusive, just because the mirrors were the same color of the body and silver was the only color I thought they came in, but the molding is not so that made me think it wasn't. Then again it does same Limited Edition on the side.

Looking at the pics it looks like that guy is lucky to have missed that big friggin tree stump to the left of the poor lil Crx. What happened to the rear bumper??? It was intact when the car was in the ditch...but when it was on pavement it has no rear bumper? Did the tow guy rip it off??? Glad no one was hurt.

Nope, NO racing involved.... there was a line of slow traffic and I'm yet to work out how they guy did it; as we were only doing around 40-50 km/h (~27mph)!!

The owner removed the rear bumper himself.... for when the tow truck guys turned up!!

FYI.. it's not an exclusive.. exclusive was only available in dark green or black or i believe burgandy.. not silver. also, exclusive had ZC hood/front end, not SiR. and it had tan interior. i believe it was called camel color.

just FYI.. but a sad loss, most definately. very, very sad..

If you read an earlier post of mine.... you'll notice that I said - the owner had removed the bumper himself, before the towtruck had arrived and pulled the car out!!
