Not sure on the turbo, but go to http://www.s2ki.com. I'm sure you'll find your answer there.

I would do a lot of research before picking a turbo and tuner to install it. There are some horror stories out there about what can go wrong. S2KI is a great place to search for this info

Most horror stories have stemmed from lack of research of the owner/installer.

The RevHard kit I'd more than likely stay away from.

Check out that site they mentioned in the "Under the Hood" forum.

Also, I've driven the Ultimate Racing turbo S2k and it is definitely something I'd recommend to all S2k enthusiasts. http://www.ultimate-racing.com Give Darryl a call there and I'm sure he'd be glad to answer questions you may have.

Yeah exactly...a lot of people just went with a random kit/tuner and that led up to disaster.

Putting a turbo on an S2000 requires some tuning and know-how.

go to http://www.teamspugen.com

These guys currently have a turbo kit in your price range and they have at least 3 S2000's which are daily driven with Team Spugens kit on them. Ask for Duc, he will show you what his turbo kits do.....

I'm sure you've heard about it, but just in cae. If you do go turbo, be very careful dumping the clutch at high rpm. The rearend is the weak link on the s2k, especially if you have an aftermarket clutch.

Frankly, you should not even consider a turbo unless you're willing to get the AEM EMS and have it *properly* tuned for fuel and timing management. The risk of detonation is *extremely* high, even at moderate boost levels (5-6psi). Without a dedicated ECU, it's only a matter of time till the motor grenades. Not to mention, there's no other solution that provides acceptable driveability (i.e. no hesitation, part-throttle jerkiness, etc.).

You've been warned...

Ditto twohoos post. Installing a turbo without a stand alone managment system is would be quite foolish. Plug and Pray in fact.

$$$$ but i just got done installing a turbo kit on an s2000. The kit was bank though. It was a Top Fuel turbo kit, and I also installed a hondata system with it as well the kit was quite possibly the most complete turbo kit i have ever seen. The motor is still being broken in, but i can't wait to see it dyno'ed. The main thing you have to do is since the compression is high you must have a EGT and an air/fuel gauge, because the higher the compression the more of a chance to detonate. If you do any kit right 4400 is not enough. You must consider turbo, manifold, fuel, timing, gauges, exhaust, cooling, intercooler, bov, maybe a external wastegate if not going with an internal. I know i have forgotten some things but 4400 would be a cheap kit.

Funny I didn't know hondata had anything else for the s2000 other than just the intake manifold gasket.

Look you can't turbo an S2K!!! your just gonna have to give it to me and buy yourself a supra!! What a noob.

For real though umm any kit would do, but I would do a ton of research on it first, cause what if you get on the road boosting and you all the sudden blow your engine, or something stops working right you need to know what to look for.
