since i have changed the diff pin on my tranny i can speak from experience....
i already broke a new diff pin... Stock ones are steel and with age they are more likely worn out,,,the new ones from honda are made of steel center with a brass outer material... (so it wears faster)

anyways i got my friend with a machine shop design me a new differential pin made out of D-2 Steel ( the ones used on some tools)
these will be a verrrrrryyy strong material that will resist wear pretty good...have less chance of break......

new pins from honda are $29.77.....
we can have this pins made for $25....better material and quality....
we are going to produce some for ourselves, and we getting changed the same amount for hardening the metal if it was 1 pin or 15..... so if u guys want a pin or are interested, let me know so we can prduce some more and have them all shipped out at the same time to the hardener....
