n/a is naturally aspirated. when the piston goes down, it pulls in the air and fuel as a type of vaccum
super chargers, and turbo chargers are called forced induction. instead of the piston pulling air and fuel into the engine, air and fuel gets rammed in.
a turbo starts to spin when the exhaust gases push a turbine which makes a turbo spin, and on the other side air gets sucked into the turbo and pushed into the engine. the more exhaust that comes out, the more a/f goes in, the more a/f goes in, the more exhaust gas comes out, the faster the turbo spins. thats where the wastegate comes in. it controls how fast a turbo can spin.
when your throttle plate closes, and you have all of that boost, and nowhere for it to go, and the turbo is still pushing air in. thaats where the blow off valve (BOV ) comes into play, it releases the extra pressure into the atmosphere so you dont damage the turbo.
it was kinda a basic explanation, but i hope that helps.
