well im getting a ww kit, and vis cf hood, body work and painted...

im not sure if i wanna keep the same color...or change it...

if i change the color im painting everything but the engine bay, then when i evently swap i'll paint it....

if you paint that car any other color than tahaitain green, you dont deserve that car...you shouldnt even put a body kit on that car...

 

Your car is very very clean right now. If you want to get something get your cf hood and leave it alone. That color is clean and everything looks good. Don't get the ww kit and follow the rest.

I would keep it the same color it's beautiful! And forget the body kit your car is clean! Get the hood and leave it at that. Use the left over money to get your swap

 

i'd get the kit, paint it same color but no cf hood, just cause i love that color.

 

bump da kit, your car is clean enough, put the money into a new engine or a lil snail.

 

I have the same color CRX and I would KILL to have mine in that kind of condition. I would not mess that car up with a body kit and the paint is perfect why repaint it?? I say get a swap. Damn that car is nice *right click...save as*

I've always hated that color but somehow your car wears it well. I'd leave it as-is and save your money for more technical stuff

 

im doing mine a charcoal grey color, not sure exactly what color variety though, ive seen the lexus is300 grey which looks sweet.......... i might also add a subtle pearl from a color i havent decided yet, but my friend owns a body shop so he will give me some ideas.........

i also agree about the body kit, i would have left my body stock but i had too much body damage so i went with the WW kit but its kool cuz no one around my town even has a kit on a crx.

 

That is one clean paint job already on that car, dont mess with the body, youll only regret it in the long run... Do you still have the stock motor? If so, you might want to save your money and get swapped up to a ZC, d16z6 or y8 vtec, or a B16a dohc vtec, then start worrying about appearance

 

keep your car clean. Only reason i got a bodykit, was cause my front and back bumpers were screwed up, as well as my mouldings.

 

Gunmetal, no kit, keep the molding n mirrors n stuff black, get a cf hood. BTW are those 16's?

That is one nice clean CRX. I would not put a kit on it or repaint it. Just use that money for performance parts

I agree. SiR front I have not seen one on that particular color CRX

Don't do it, if you ruin that crx by putting a kit on it and changing the color, I'll be forced to start a petition for your immediate removal from all things honda related.

 

Your car looks clean already. Don't change it. For some reason, most CRX's look out of place with paint colors that are not stock.....I didn't say all, I said most.

Man, you guys need to get off this mans nutz let him do what he wants. The tahitian green looks good and is very clean, obviously. Honestly it is his car if he wants a wings west kit, go for it, if he wants a CF hood, go for it. I personally have a WW kit on my CRX and kinda wished I didn't. I put it on, like others did to fix other problems on my lower doors, that would have cost alot to fix. It does look great and is one of the best kits out for our cars, but it does add weight, thats my only beef, if you knew how much other stuff I've removed you would understand. One thing it is good for is a larger front opening for a big fat nasty FMIC.

Anyway with that being said, if you want to change the color. My favorites on a CRX would be Championship White, gun metal grey, C-5 Vette dark blue metallic, or just plain old black. Don't paint it red though, I've had 10pts on my licence for the past 4years since I've had the car. I am finally down to 6pts. In my blue civic hatch I can do retarded things and they(cops) don't even know see me. So it is beind painted S2000 Suzuka blue and a JDM front is installed, they still won't see me.

 

Dont put anything on it. do the hood and the swap and make it a sleeper, Thats my 2 cents

 

stock original color. I hate seeing hidden parts of cars that do not match colors.

God forbid someone DOESN'T like green, and wanted to just change their paint color, regardless of how the condition of the current paintjob was...

Well..that is a nice and rare color. I would keep the stock color buy a motor and make it a sleeper. But if you wanna throw a bodykit and change the color... i say go for it. Just dont make your rex look like everyone elses .. "DO EVERYTHING RIGHT THE FIRST TIME"
