Default Tire Pressure recommendation!!

For a set of pretty harshly used RE010 that ran 10,000 miles. What tire pressure F/R would be good for a track day?
And I usually don't wanna bother during AutoX and have all four set to 40psi . Is this correct?

The trick is to start low, because when they get heated up, the pressure goes up.

If you look on the tire there are tiny triangles on the edge of the sidewall. If you are scrubbing those on turns, add a little. If you are not near them, lower it a little.

Every car and every tire are different.

That's not the way to monitor your pressures.

Let's say you put the recommended pressures (35F/33R) on your tires (and BTW the recommended pressures are a good place to start). You go out on the track and heat them up and they're 45F/43R. Well, their COLD PRESSURE is still 35F/33R. Don't consider the measurement as meaning anything when they're hot. Use the measurement only to add or remove air. For example, if the tires are rolling over and you want to add air, then what you do is measure the pressure and WHATEVER it measures, add a couple of pounds to it immediately. So let's say your cold pressure was 35 psi, and after a hot run they were 45 psi, and you then added two pounds so that it read 47 psi. That means that your COLD PRESSURE in the tire is now 37, because that's what it will read when the car sits for hours.

So the answer is: measure your tires when cold. From that point on, you should only measure them when they're hot in order to put air in or let some out; when you do this, just keep track of how it changes your cold pressure.
