intake, good header(sms, hytech, headertech), good exaust(sms or hytech) or no exaust, hondata, mild cams, and a little more compressiong, and tuning should be a good start

you can hit it with the cams you still have.

-jdm itr pistons or cp pistons
-stock or aftermarket rods
-sell itr head and get a gsr and have it ported and polished
-itr valves
-stiffer valve springs
-310 injectors
-honda s200 with 2 hours of tuning done by a good tuner
-a good header (no mass produced ****)

find a good engine builder who has built multiple high hp efficient motors.

if a crappy builder/tuner does work on the engine, you might have to spend another 2k to get the motor to 200whp

Good bolt ons and a ported & polished head w/ vafc should be able to make 200whp. Stock ITR cams & pistons will work, you can run a single layer head gasket to get a little more compression. I was running a similair setup and it made 202whp.

Good Luck

SMS header
stock ITR intake box & arm
CTR intake cam or s2s2
good 2.5" exhaust
hondata
a better p&p job wouldnet hurt...

headers(hytech, toda), intake(comptech, spoon drop in) dyno tuning with v-afc, some cam gears, hondata s200, stiffer rods, higher compression, advanced timing..etc

Should I go CTR pistons or just use a thinner headgasket or mill the head?

instead of selling the itr head and getting a gsr head ported and polished...
wouldn't it be better to keep an itr head and get the chambers welded and
reshaped to the pentroof style, which is used in the gsr and rsx (dc5) heads?
unless the gsr has a superior intake manifold...

Depends how much money you want to spend. Cheaper to run a thinner head gasket or mill the head. You don't need that much compression to reach 200whp

Well you'll have to ask your self ....if you want the simplest and fastest way to get 200whp or the overall best way of doing it.

This is what i personally would do if I was on a small budget and all i wanted was 200whp....no more no less:
*B18c1
*EF-1 JUN killer cams...or jun3
*valve train upgrade (jun, toda, REV, crower, )
*really good headers (SMSP, Jun, Hytech, IB modded JG headers, AN-R,
Erickracing)... I like what the other guy said.. none of that mass production *****.
afc
fpr
cam gears
some chepo head work shave head a little
stock 240cc injectors will be fine
cai
CTR oversized pistons
....... that should be enough to get you to you 200 whp goal.
------------------------------------------------------
now for a better more complete setup that will ensure you more room to grow. I personally would go with:
-B18c1
-Sleeved out to 85mm
-IB weisco 85mm 11.8 to 12.5cr
-CTR cams
-toda cam gears
-high flowing headers and exhust
-ITR overbored TB 65mm ''ish
-CAI
-FPR
-hondata tunning... maybe 3 to 5 runs.... 30 minutes of tunning
-RC 310cc injectors
-apr head bolts!!!
NOW that should get you to 200whp. Notice that you haven't even touched the head yet and you have very mild street OEM cams that you can keep you stock valvetrain..... you still have plenty of more room to make power.

just my thoughs.... good luck
BTW getting a 200whp B18c5 should be a walk in the park..not very hard to do at all.

B18c1?
I'm assuming you are referring to the head?

I don't plan to ditch the C5 already in my car

I think I'm just going to get the .25 over CTR pistons, SMSP headers & exhaust, and hondata and see where I stand at that point

yeah don't ditch the c5 head... (you'll kick yourself in the nuts later if you do )
Good list of mods. you should see about atleast 15whp gains

Why do you say sell the ITR head and go with GSR. I've heard that before maybe you can explain it because of the design of the combustion chamber.

i would ask rocket on this board..jeff from IB..he's banned , MAX_CFM ...
also look at the threads i started here in the all motor forum..
others can explain better than i can.
IMO if u have the itr or b16 head just get the chambers rewelded and reshaped
to the pentroof style that's like the rsx and the gsr heads...
but i'm not sure how the IM from the ITR vs. GSR stacks up...
