ok so my car wont start, it felt like it was out of gas even with a full tank. i took off the fuel line cranked it and fuel came out. so i pulled a plug. this is what i found. sorry for the shitty pics.

 

dam, that dosen't look good, seems like it was soaked in Fuel

 

im havin the same problem. no start but gettin fuel and spark.

 

ok i changed the plugs, and it wanted to start real bad. i got frustrated and came in the house to cool down. went back out there and it fired right up. i got all excited. so i went to switch back to my battery *mine was dead so i was using my friends* and it cut, so i tried to start it again and it wont go again. so im sitting here hoping when i go back out there in a few minutes itll be fine again.

 

have you tried the main relay? intermittent start ups could lead towards the main relay

agreed i resoldered my main relay the other day and not a problem since.

 

main relay, or fuel filter? is the pump coming on? what are the exact symptoms?

 

ok guys i got it all figured out. the plugs, cap and rotor are all shot to hell. i need new ones.

 

i take it your car didn't throw any codes? did u ever check to see if u had spark?

yeah i checked the plugs and they were shot, so i checked for spark, got nothing. so i took off the cap and i found it was shot as well as the rotor.

 

aaah, ok. im gettin spark, so i can cross off bad destributor from my list

 

well i hope its not the dizzy. but i wont know anytime soon
