Default Clutch Slip or Fueling Problem?

Hi guys,

got a problem, since adding more power to my Teg it won't rev to 8.5 K (more like 7k) before the cars jerks and you lose power, thing is I can;t tell if it's clutch slip or a fueling problem. All power cuts off for a sec so it's not allowing me to got from vetc to vtec when changing gears.

I have a 2.5 inch straight through system with a Spoon header, its got a Apexi V-AFC but is untuned at the moment. The Clutch is standard and has 36000 miles on it

Help please?

First, if your clutch slipped it would or could rev all the way till you let go of the gas, second If your fuel does not make it to the combustion chamber properly with the correct psi you will not have power.

So check your filter first and keep checking the simple stuff first then worry about the items that cost more.

Cheap fix- hopefully

No the filters fine, so you're saying it's not the clutch? If a clutch does slip (or begin to), it will still clamp until a certain pressure right?? This is my point, I can;t rev to 8.5k anymore without the power getting cutoff. As for the correct PSI presure what actually determines this? I want to dyno tune the car but I don;t want to turn up at the dynos to find I can't even rev to the limit because of this problem I've got. Need help on this bad, the last time this happened the vacum hose was lose but not this time.

Shall I use my V-AFC to dump more fuel at about 7000 revs (where the power seems to cut) and see what happens?

Maybe its the VAFC causing this problem, set it all to zero and see what happens.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Like I said it's untuned so everything is the same, there nothing to change on the fueling side, it's on 0 or Neatural already
