Header support bracket...Anyone take theres off?

Header support bracket...Anyone take theres off?
Anyone remove the bracket that goes from the car to the header? Mines will either rub on my axle or rub on my engine... Is it safe to take it off? Anyone done this?

mine rubbed on my header making the most god awful screeching noise at certian rpm loads
took it off, fixed the problem. never had a problem not running it.

Mine is off.... No problems I can see...... unless it would have helped when my 98 spec DC4-1 header bottomed out and kinda bent upward..... but I don't think it would have made a difference....
