OK i ran 2nite at a local track here and it was super muggy which im hoping is the problem..... But my times really sucked...... my best time before was a 14.6 with a 1.6 60 foot.. with slicks

2nite my best time was a 15.1 with a 1.7 60 foot @ 85 mph with slicks... why the hell are my mph so slow! we have done a compression test on my engine and its 183,185,185,185....... i never missed a gear or anything.. it seems that 3rd gear is chuggy and 4th...
its a usdm b16a2 in an ek using a stock dx fuel pump
any ideas on what the problem could be?

EK, b16a2 usdm.. AEM short ram intake, exhaust , 2 1/4.. thats it

 

also i have a small fuel leak at the end of my fuel rail....... its missing a washer that i gotta put on.... its dripping a bit of gas but not large.. make a big difference?

 

what is your slick size and what presure were you at? Your sixty ft's were almost eric aguilar like. 1.6 on a b16 nice

 

yah i did a 1.7 2nite.... MT's... 14's.... psi... not telling ;-)

check fuel pressure mostly stock b16 suppose to be at 38psi idle with my stock fuel pump it was at 33psi so maybe thats the problem get a bigger pump....

 

hmmmm did u notice a difference when u replaceD?

the fuel rail is under high pressure. fix the leak.

 

ok.. i got the washer 2 do it.... is it going 2 make that much of a difference ?

so you need to fix it.
