brake pulsates like crazy...need help
brembo blanks and generic oem-type pads....anyway i get this really awful pulsating feel that goes through my car...i can feel it through the steering wheel as well...kinda feels like those bumps that you're not supposed to run over on the freeway...does anyone know what this could be? i had the blanks turned today.... i bolted the 3 main caliper bolts to spec....i dunno...i got tired so i'll try again tomorrow before i have to go work at 11am...
moderators- i know its a repost but i forgot the all important heading...if you want, you guys can delete my other post...thanks

It sounds to me like the rotors bent. If not, then may be you have a kink in your brake system and its causing the fluid to surge then stop, like bending the water hose and letting it go again. Your brakes will clamp then losen. If that's not it, then maybe one of your rims are bent. That can sause pulsating, too.
i don't think my rims or rotors are bent, i just machined the rotors today and the rims were fine before i worked on the car...maybe i could have a kink in the system as well...thanks for you input...any other suggestions?
did you make sure to put the washer back on each bolt. I lost one on mine, and for temp, i though id be fine. SO i put it back on, and it went straight into my calper, and wore a huge channel in the rotor, and warped it immediatly.
washer....
...sounds bad, i don't remember a washer coming out from anywhere...and i didn't remember seeing one on the ground either...

i forgot to put on my shims....but i don't know if i want to use em again cause there's a phat piston ring mark on them...and they're like 60 bucks new from honda....could the problem be the lack of shims?
aint the shims...tho i sure could use new ones....but it still is a crazy feeling....could the rotors have been turned incorrectly so that they're warped? i got enough brake fluid...and i doubt i need to bleed my brakes, i didn't touch the brake lines at all....

Yeah it does sound like your rotors are warped.

Buy brand new rotors....I never resurface, being the the caliper piston will stay pushed out further, and the brakes wont bite as well. You want that piston as compressed to the caliper as possible for optimal performance. Those shims are also mandatory...and they should be Permatex-ed to the pad so there is no play. This is my way and my brakes never pulsate.
also autozone has decent rotors

Hey keith, do you know if auto zone has any warranties on there rotors ? I know they have a life time warranty on brake pads so I was just wondering about the rotors.
