Hey Brian,
Yeah driving at the limits can be hazardous to your health on the streets. Autocrossing is an excellent way to "get-it'out" so-to-speak. Tickets suck, trees hurt and killing folks might cause you mental anguish, not to mention a few years vacation in a government institution.
For Nissan schtuff, check out: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ma-serca/
You can also check out my site (see the link below) and/or http://www.autox4u.com for info about, well, autocrossing.
I usually autocross with Philly and South Jersey, though if you still live in the VA area, DC Region might be the clesest place for you... FYI, they require online registration.
Once you've autocrossed a few times another area to check out: http://www.bsr-inc.com
If you have any further questions feel free to email me directly @ emwavey@yahoo.com
Good luck and keep it safe!
(edited to add in bsr info.)

Are you the spokesperson for "MicroMachines"? Damn boy, I truly hope you don't rattle off sentences without pausing like that in actual verbal conversation.

one step at a time tony. first get 'em off the streets and into the lots. then, get them into english 001
but seriously, its good that you are realizing that blasting around on the streets isn't a good idea. my advise would be to autox the stanza all stock. maybe put some better tires on it, but u dont even have to do that. you will find that you have alot to learn and doing it in a stock car is easier to do.
welcome to cone hell
