hey everyone, theres a guy on ebay selling phillips hid lights. i emailed him and says there MERCURY XENON....what the hell is that? anyone know, cause im not familiar with this. he selling the kit for only 250.00 flat if you email him. scam? im not sure someone check this out and let me know. sorry i cant post the link, but just go to ebay' search and type in phillips hid. hes got quite a few kits up there. This sounds way to good to be true. He also claims that lights are much better than the "old" xenon
considering i've never seen the philips kit for 250 EVER...i think it's a scam, or stolen goods, maybe even used.
Be weary, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
What the heck is Mercury xenon, maybe he means mercury vapor lamps , which are the really white ones used on the street. If i remember correctly, theres a mixture of various gases in the xenon arc lamps.

this frigin makes no sense to me. can someone email him ( go to his ebay auctions...importspecialist is his ebay name) and find out a little more, i have already done this like 10 times
thanks

he also gives you the impression he is going to customize them based on your ride "heigth"[sic]
"i'm passing the savings on to you", "i'm only making $10", "shipping included, $20 off if i don't respond" C'MON!!!
(or maybe the one i found is some other scam guy)

guys he legit...... i just talked to two people who got the kits as well i forgot ive bought from him before (different ebay name) so i guess its a good deal
can't help but be skeptical with a price that low. it's like "fs:2k1 itr, never driven $10K"
if people selling kits for $500 are making $260 a pop, then i'm in the wrong business. of course you know there's a lot of people still charging $600-800. but anyway, $250 is the level where i would actually begin to think about it. let us know if you hear more.
