I just got my GC/Koni + GC Honda Mount combo...question.....did the GC's come with the hard rubber bands? I know with my illuminas the GC came with The rubber band spacers.....just making sure

 

Gc's have 4 rubber (urethane) circular pieces that go inbetween the top of the spring and the top mount.

 

for the upper mount, but the rubber pieces so that sleeve won't move around....

Yes, there are also "filler" urethane sleeves that mount inbetween the shock body and GC.

For one vehicle we worked on that didn't have these, we used an old bicycle tire inner tube and wrapped it around it. (I know, "ghetto") but it works the same. You're basically trying to fill the gap. You could use silicone from Home Depot....Although what I would do is call GC http://www.ground-control.com and have them send you some.

 

I just use racer tape.

I have yet to see GC supply anything like this.
