I`m sure he`ll behave if given a second chance. I will vouch for him. Maybe we could limit the forums he can visit. I think his comments in the GD&D Forum were the nail in the coffin, so maybe he can simply be denied access to that particular forum.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. What percentage of parts made/sold are for the h22? H22 has the smallest following..by far. Not dealing in h22 parts is like not selling Beta VCR`s, it would never lead to a "huge decrease in business". Nice story...

Btw, spoke to a mod, looks like it would take a small miracle to get him back and christmas isn`t for a few months.

 

Why Jeff got banned who knows. Even if he had a "sharp" tongue it's not like other people arent that way as well. It's sad how there is drama on a ******* web board. It sounds more like some people need to find better things to do w/ their time...

I guess I never saw Jeff's bad side. I stick to All Motor and Drag Racing mainly. When I am at work I will check FI now and again and tech. Occasionally stroll into GD&D. I've only known Jeff for a short time, did busniess with him and my impression is he was a stand up guy. He always returned phone calls and emails and kept the status up to date. He gets a as a business and a for knowledge of building and tuning. I guess I missed all the bad posts or his signature.

i agree. its his lack of respect for other people and general behavior on this site that got him banned. being a good contributor isnt enough. you have represent yourself as a decent human being to stay on this board, also.

hey, i consider myself a pissy "never will be" mod, you forgot that classification. again the problems with jeff are obvious if you look. none of the moderators of honda-tech do their tasks here for any personal gain/benefit. we just want to keep this place a great place to learn. jeff was a decent tech contributor (at least i think he was) but he caused way too much trouble, and that makes our lives difficult as moderators. we are not here to babysit. therefore he is not welcome.

i even met Jeff personally once, he was a great guy. lots of enthusiasm. i really think he's a cool person. but the way he represents himself and causes trouble on here mean's he is not welcome. there is nothing more to it, in my opinion.

the shenanigans he pulled this week tell me he's not going to change. so, he's not allowed back here. period.

maybe someday he will learn the concept of moderation, or tolerance...we'll see.

I dont personally know the guy, ive delt with him a few times and im buying some pistons off him this week everytime he has been very friendly and knowledgable .
