ok today i broke down my tired d16a6.and im installing d16a1 pistons,new rings,bearings, headgasket...ect...what hp should i expect with this set up? hoping to get mid to low 15's in my 91 si hatch.

 

someone has had this set up before...how did u like it?

 

i have a d16a7 and I've pulled 15.11's

 

100 whp....i'm shooting low...in case you make more

 

if what car...hatch,crx? i just finished building it today. so i should be able to get it in monday or tuesday.ill let yall know how it turns out

I'm no D series guru but with a bigger cam or a vtec head, your D16 could probably make it into the 110-120 hp range with all the bolt ons.

I would expect 10-15 more than that or you've got the wrong parts

 

well i should be putting it in in the morning. so ill let you all know what happens.
