Anything in a heat range of 8 should do you fine. NGK makes the once I have.

Heat range 6, or if it's really aggressively tuned, heat range of 7.

From this I guess that these are 5s? Too cold?

Motor currently bone stock and tired (33 races in the log book).

If the motor is stock, even with I/H/E you should run the stock heat range.

I use NGK laser platinum's. I've abused my B16 for 2 years and they still fire like new.

Zsolt, I was doing some research trying to get Frankie to pass emissions and I was going to get the NGK-PFR6G-11(5555) for the B18C5.

Call Phil Phillips and see what I was running in my car.
They were slightly colder than stock and worked great. Dyno tested even .

I just dont remember which ones I was using. I gave Phil a spare set, which he likely still has lying around.
