Default Drag Turbo kit wastegate question

hi, i'm kinda new to turbo kits. I have a DRAG turbo kit on my hybrid coupe. the power is nice, but i have a problem with the tial wastegate. I guess my car is running rich, so a lot of the fumes come into the cabin. Does anybody know of a way to eliminate the gas smell from an external wastegate? I've seen people weld a small diameter pipe from the wastegate back into the exhaust, but i'm affraid the ac would interfer with taht kinda work. any ideas on how to solve this?

No, it's not long enough to exit the engine bay. Would I need to have a pipe welded on and reroute it back into the exhaust?
