Default First time in the Prelude Forum, whatcha think?

Well, after 5-10 hours of cussing, drooling and cutting I finally got my turbo H22 swap done and running. Took it for the first drive, hit .2 bar, and smoke ALL OVER. Three turbos and 2 days later, I was relieved to find that my oil return line was undersized, and that the engine is ok($ is low right now, saving for frame lift/2400 sq ft shop). Heres pics of the old setup:

This is after I made a DP/Exhaust for non-turbo. I dont have anymore spare turbos to run, so Im going to run NA till I get my 62-1 back from Majestic. Heres the turbo replacement:

The H pulls alot harder then the Turbo D16 that it replaced. I hit boost once before the first turbo completely blew apart, and I skipped across the road in a wheel-spinning frenzy. All I can say is I cant WAIT till I get my turbo back
-Enjoy

Thanx, but the bumper is temporary until I find a decent stock on. Im not a fan of ricey bodykits(although I used to be). So ya, once I find a decent stock bumper, Im doing that and a CF lip if I can afford it...

Only 1 prob...I keep getting a knock sensor code. Its supposed to be on pin "D3" right? Thats where I pinned it, and I still get the code. I was walkin on a b20 4th gen hatch, the light came on, and then I got walked on....

yes d3 is correct, if you getting a knock code check to make sure your wire is all good, and if it still throws a code you may want to replace the sensor. check here for the p13 pin outs https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=549372

You need to wrap the piping in header wrap, or you'll melt a lot of good stuff

The Excaliber is tight too:

Just stumbled onto Tinker's stuff in the FI forum a few weeks ago, took one look and bookmarked his page after that. Ill ****.

Tinker: the Sidewinder is the only mani you make that's AC compatible right? And are you making them in SS now?

I love it but pardon my ignorance, I have no concept whatsoever of how that things gonna squeeze in/fit in my engine compartment...

thanx for the pin-outs, I guess its time for another sensor(or my gfs p28 till now, w/a GSR map).

This was my gfs old car. It was totalled, so I picked it up for cheap, and Im planning on some craziness for this winter.
If you look close, thats a 6th gen Civic. I did the ghey eyebrow thing years ago, and I just bombed them over with primer to match. Check my sig, theres a bunch of pics of the old car. Traded the B Series for the H because the H uses a tranny w/a cable shifter.
This means that you can put the engine anywhere with the appropriate cable length(insert turbo mid engine, rwd h23/Vtec T Del sol...winter project ). Once that is done you guys are absolutely going to **** a brick!

It will be. In not exactly sure how the cables are going to work. At first glance though, Im thinking of just turning the shifter around, reversing the "H" pattern(1st gear would be in the current reverse point), and pointing the cables backward. I think this would give me plenty of room to work with.

That del sol looks great. The mani is bad-***. I am digging the exhaust tip in the front bumper, nice touch. You don't see too many people that can put ideas like that into action.

Excellent job.

Ya, a i/h/e B20 4th gen hatch kept with me/started to walk me the other day. CEL #23, which is limp mode...that wsa my excuse. However, this was NA. Im supposed to get my turbo back early this week, which means SEEYA!
Thanx on all the comments so far, makes it seem like not such a waste of my precious time(10pm till I cant lift another wrench), because Im so busy during the day making manifolds.
