taking out the carpet is easy.. just gotta unscrew bolts and screws that hold down the seats and such.. the hardest part i think is taking out the seats and carpet and trying not to scratch your car up.. but yeah its pretty much straight forward.. good luck dood

You may have an interior trim shop in your area (they would recover seats, headliners, dashes etc.) that would have interior carpet for sale. JC Whitney sells precut and molded carpet for Accords. They have color selection and decent price, but not sure about quality though. Black carpet with grey interior would look pretty sweet imo .

Swapping carpet is pretty easy. I did it in my 3rd gen. All of the interior has to come out. Seats (of course) all consoles, side plastic on the doors and the side plastic on the pillars. After all of that is out you can pull the OEM carpet out. The carpet you get (mine came from AAuto1.com I think) will be premolded but it wont have the necessary cuts needed to install it. Take your OEM carpet and line it up over the new molded carpet to get a rough estimation on how to put it in. Cut small amounts FIRST. You need to cut enough to get it over the shifter and console things. After you have the general cuts made, you can start cutting larger and larger holes while test fitting the consoles and seats each time. Be careful when taking out th eseats, its pretty easy to bend the rails by setting them down hard. Once a seat rail is bent, good luck on trying to fix it, its not fun.

Other then that, its a very basic install. Honda's come apart quite nicely. Its all phillips head screw heads for the plastic...my 5th gen seems to be the same way also.

Nate.
