Default Wanting to buy: Prelude. Need help

Hey, i recently came over from the nopistons.com forums but with my daily driver crapping out I need a new car. I want something sporty to some degree but at the same time I need a good daily driver for a fairly cheap amount. Thus the prelude. I have around 4-5k to work with and i preferrably want a 4th gen Vtec Prelude.

Anyways what can that get me realistically. And when looking for Preludes are there any specific things that i should check and look at? Certain parts that tend to go bad, certain generation issues such as the 2nd gen rx-7's many electrical gremlins? Any comments and help would be greatly appreciated.
